Development
Film composer Lalit Pandit has confirmed that he has been asked to work on the film's soundtrack and that it will consist of six tracks.[7] Pandit also stated that the music was completed in the film's pre-production stages as per the instructions of director Kashyap.[7]In January 2013 actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, parents of actor Ranbir Kapoor, were confirmed as starring in Besharam in unspecified roles.[8]
As on April 20, 2013, Ranbir Kapoor (Actor), Abhinav Kashyap (Director) and many in the unit were shooting at Universal Trade Tower, Sector-49, Sohna Road, Gurgaon (Haryana).[9] The trailer of the film will be launched by Ranbir Kapoor and Abhinav Kashyap at an orphanage in Mumbai on 2 August 2013.
The first trailer was released on 30 July 2013.
